Research & Scholarship
Theory of Mind, AI & Schizophrenia
Neuropsychiatry Lab – Dr. Sunny Tang, Zucker Hillside Hospital
Summer 2023 – Present
I am currently working on a study exploring how large language models (LLMs) perform on Theory of Mind (ToM) tasks. Drawing from theatrical script analysis, the project examines how both humans and machines infer intention and subtext through language. The research also investigates ToM disruptions in schizophrenia, using LLMs as a model for linguistic and cognitive pattern recognition. This work has been selected for Grand Rounds presentation at Zucker Hillside Hospital in 2025.

Leadership & Innovation in Psychiatry
KLAR Leadership and Innovation Scholar
Zucker School of Medicine
Winter 2025 – Present
As a KLAR Scholar under the mentorship of Dr. Howard Linder, I conducted a scoping review and presented a poster on Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as a strategy to extend psychiatric care in resource-limited systems. My work focused on evaluating safety, accessibility, and the potential for KAP to support patients with treatment-resistant depression in underserved settings.
